$4.50 per truck, capped at $18 per fleet, for a first filing. A returning customer renews for $1 per truck, capped at $10. An amendment is $10, a VIN correction is free, and a final return is free for a returning customer ($4.50 otherwise). The federal tax itself is paid to the IRS, never to us.

The tax period runs July 1 to June 30. A truck first used in July is due August 31; a truck first used later is due the last day of the month after it was first used.
